Fun Kitchen Tools

While pitting cherries for a recipe we posted last week, we started thinking of how boring pitting cherries really is.  It also got us wondering… how could this experience be better?  Wondering of course led to googling, and that led us to finding this product called the “cherry chomper” a cute little character that chomps the pits right out of your cherries. This product put a smile on our faces and got us thinking… what other cool, fun, humours (but useful) kitchen tools are out there? Here are some neat things we found…

Clockwise from top left: 1. “I could eat a horse” spaghetti measuring tool from Stefán Pétur Sólveigarson is designed to put a humorous spin on helping you portion spaghetti servings.  2. “Sharky” tea infuser by Pablo Matteoda via designboom is a playful way to infuse hot water with loose leaf tea while it looks like shark is swimming in your glass. 3. “cherry chomper”  by Talisman easily chomps away the pits of your cherries.  4. “mrs. food face”  plates via uncommon goods encourage you to play with your food by creating hair do’s and decorating faces (also available in mr.).
