V-Day Smoothie

Sometimes, it’s the little things that are the most memorable, and you don’t need to go all out to express your love. ¬†Here’s a cute idea to show someone you love them on Valentine’s morning and send them off on their day feeling special!

Ingredients: V-Day Smoothie (makes 2 servings)

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup almond milk

 

Directions: V-Day Smoothie

  1. Throw all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Serve in a tall glass topped with a heart and arrow

 

Supplies: DIY Heart & Arrow (makes 2)

  • 2 large strawberries
  • small knife
  • 2 toothpicks
  • paper of your choice
  • scissors
  • tape

Directions: DIY Heart & Arrow

  1. Cut the top off of the strawberries
  2. Cut a V shape into the tops to make the strawberry look like a heart (it doesn’t have to be perfect to get the message across)
  3. Skewer the strawberry with the tooth pick horizontally
  4. Cut shapes for the arrow out of paper and tape onto the tooth pick
  5. Slice a slit into the bottom of the strawberry and place on the side of your smoothie glass
  6. Enjoy with someone you love!
